Experience:
Greg’s focus and commitment is working with both adolescent and adult populations struggling with anxiety, depression and addictions including internet pornography. Greg also enjoys helping adolescents struggling with anger and identity issues as they transition from child to adult. Greg has experience working with many diverse populations including adolescents and African Americans.
Personal statement:
Having personal experience with addiction and mental health issues my strong belief is the suffering can end and there is a solution. My approach to life is to rely on a positive strength-based approach “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” Philippians 4:13. My approach to affect change is through a positive strength based approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. For clients seeking addiction treatment I am very experienced with the 12 steps of Alcoholic Anonymous. I also offer spiritual guidance through Biblical Based Christian Counseling. You need not be alone anymore. Together we can work to create the serenity and inner peace achievable only when we stop fighting and begin living. The largest goals can be achieved when broken down into manageable pieces. Change is painful, Growth is painful but nothing is more painful than staying where you do not belong.
