Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisory designation and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor level-III.
Bachelor's of Arts and Science from The University of Toledo. She also has a master's level degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. She has had formal training in Chemical Dependency Counseling as well as Mental Health Counseling.
Over the past 15 years, she has worked in a clinical setting as an assessor, intake worker, supervisor, school based therapist, consultant, prevention specialist, case manager, presenter, trainer, teacher and advisor. In a clinical counseling capacity, this has allowed her to experience the delicate blending of applying evidenced based treatment models to real world applications. These experiences have given her insight in dealing with people, right where they are. She has learned the benefits of several clinical counseling approaches including TF-CBT, Psychological First Aid, and Motivational Interviewing. Samantha practices a supervisor, assessor, and trainer for Hope Behavioral Health.
