Tiona has over ten years of experience in clinical pastoral counseling, and 34 years as a registered nurse. Her areas of competence in counseling are antepartum and postpartum mental health counseling, adolescent counseling, grief/loss counseling, and individual counseling. She specializes in grief counseling for parents and caregivers of children with medically complex conditions and terminal illnesses. She helps caregivers and parents to develop coping skills that allow them to push through the pain, exhaustion, and disappointment that often overwhelms them. Through art expression and personal storytelling, she helps those who have experienced infant loss to help restore hope and positive self-image. She empowers women to be restored from depression related to pregnancy and birth through thought testing which leads to healthy behaviors and relationships. Here you will be safe to express yourself. Tiona utilizes art forms to facilitate self-expression. Artistic expression is about the process of discovering a positive and powerful self-image.

Often as children of the Most High God we struggling emotionally and spiritual it can feel like being swallowed or overtaken by numerous life stressors that press into our inner world.
