Our Approach

How We Support Your Healing

Integrating faith-based principles in treatment begins with our belief in the biblical scriptures’ restorative power. However, we recognize that not everyone shares the same faith beliefs. Our mission statement emphasizes culturally competent, spiritually sensitive, and trauma-informed counseling services, which include respecting individual faith traditions, including those without religious affiliation.

As with any faith-based intervention, we adhere to ethical standards and ensure consent and comfort level. We select skilled staff who can integrate faith-based principles, such as biblical-based counseling and prayer, with standard therapeutic processes.

At intake, please let us know if you prefer faith-based therapy. While all our therapists are spiritually sensitive and culturally competent, not all incorporate faith-based principles. By informing us at intake, we can match you with a therapist who best meets your needs.
