Candace is a licensed professional clinical counselor with 25 years of experience working in the mental health field with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and female clinicians. She specializes in treating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions, helping clients develop resilience, restore hope, and experience lasting emotional healing.
Candace’s therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, culturally responsive, and person-centered. She integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), neuroscience-based interventions, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and strengths-based approaches to support each client’s unique goals. She is passionate about helping clients understand the connection between the brain, emotions, and behavior while equipping them with practical tools for trauma recovery, emotional healing, and lasting change.
