Ms. Cook has previous experience working in community mental health as a community psychiatric supportive treatment therapist. Shje also has a strong history working with children and teens who have suffered loss and separation from their family who are placed in alternative care settings. Ms. Cook is extremely skilled in working with individuals who are suffering from chronic and complex trauma issues, such as sexual trauma as a result of sexual violence and human trafficking. She also has several years of experience providing intensive home base therapy to families in crisis.
