✨ Hope Behavioral Health is offering a Grief Recovery Method® Group this fall, beginning Tuesday, October 21 and running for 8 weeks through December 16. Led by Sharon Mackel, MSSW, LISW-S, and Darlene Felton, two of our Certified Grief Recovery Specialists. 💙
Common myths about grief: • Time heals all wounds • Replace the loss • Grieve alone • Be strong for others • Bury your feelings
The truth: Your feelings are normal and natural. The problem is, we’ve been taught to believe they’re not.
This group is for anyone navigating loss—whether from: 💔 Death 💔 Divorce or relationship changes 💼 Career loss 🤝 Loss of trust 🙏 Loss of faith 🛡️ Loss of safety 💊 Loss of health
We cover numerous topics for you to learn about grief and learn from one another. Anyone experiencing grief is welcome, whatever loss you’re facing or however long it’s been. You’ll log on via Zoom to join a compassionate group of others who, like you, are also processing their grief. You’ll have an opportunity to share, or you can simply listen and receive. There is no charge for this group.
When: The group meets the third Tuesday of every month from 6:30 -8:00pm
Where: Will be held online via Zoom
Enrollment: Open
